The Rev. Marco Gabriel Serrano

Rector of St. Paul’s since 2024, the Rev. Marco Gabriel Serrano received his B.A. from Bowling Green State University and his M.A. from the University of California, Riverside, both in philosophy. Marco’s J.D. and M.Div. are from Yale University. He also holds a Diploma of Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, where he was awarded the Thomas Philips Memorial Award for the exceptional achievement and further promise in the study and practice of Anglican liturgy. Previously, Marco served churches in Kansas, Missouri, and Connecticut.
As rector, Marco is primarily responsible for the spiritual leadership and formation of St. Paul’s. He is especially passionate about sharing the relevance of the Gospel to our lives, and how together we can build communities that connect us to Christ and to each other. Marco is married to Corrine, and they reside in Westfield with their three children.
The Rev. Katie Ayers
Associate Rector & Chaplain to the Day School

Born and raised in Howard County, Maryland, the Rev. Katie Ayers received her B.A. from The College of William and Mary in 2013 and worked as an analyst for the federal government for five years until discerning a call to the priesthood. She received an M.Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2021 and has since served parishes in the Dioceses of Washington and Upper South Carolina. She has experience building and leading formation programs for people of all ages and and has a particular passion for pastoral care.
Katie lives in Princeton with her husband, The Rev. Garrett Ayers, who is a PhD student in Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. They have two funny cats, Goose and Bizzy. Katie is an avid equestrian and loves spending time with animals of any kind, but especially horses.

Mark has served as the Director of Music since 2018. Previously, he served as Music Director and Conductor of the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra. In addition to serving as our Director of Music, he also teaches at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Mark received his Master’s Degree in Piano from The Mannes College of Music, where he studied under Pavlina Dokovska, and holds degrees in Music and Chemistry from Rutgers University.

Katrina has served as Director of Saint Paul’s Day School since 2025, bringing years of leadership experience across corporate and academic settings. Previously, Katrina served as a member of the Day School Board for several years before serving as Strategic Transition Leader. Katrina holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College. Katrina and her family are members of St. Paul’s, and her daughters graduated from the Day School.
