St Paul’s welcomes all children to participate in our Christian Formation Program. If you are new, let a church member know and they will take you to the right Sunday School room, where you will meet the teacher.
Sunday School classes begin at 9:55am and are held from September through May.
Nursery care is provided for infants – 2 years during the 10:00am service.
Preschool (Age 2 – Pre-K) – Children learn Bible Stories, participate in activities to reinforce the story, and attend Children’s Chapel. Preschoolers stay with their class for the entire church service. Parents are welcome to pick up their children and bring them into church for Holy Communion.
Kindergarten – 5th Grade – St. Paul’s Christian Education bases its lessons and activities on the Episcopal Church Calendar. Lessons are taught through Bible Readings, songs, games and crafts. Children join their parents for Holy Communion after the sermon and announcements.
Service Sundays – The last Sunday of the each month dedicated to service projects. We strive to teach the children about helping others in our community. Past projects have included: Souper Bowl of Caring, Christmas Angel Tree, making cards for Troops, and food preparation for our monthly Mission Kitchen at St. John’s in Elizabeth.
Christmas Pageant – The Annual Christmas Pageant is held during our 4:00pm Christmas Eve Service. Children ages 3 through middle school participate in this wonderful production.
